Statement
I believe that behind the physical matter there is an observable element of absolute perfection and everyday life is like a heavy curtain separating us from this infinity. At the very beginning of my creative path I had a desire to compose colors together in harmonious abstract patterns, then I wanted more, I wanted a story to emerge from beyond the colors. The search for harmony among colors pushed me towards the search for beauty, as an aspect of perfection. Beauty, as an idea, is pure abstraction, but as an attribute it is already something more concrete, and something I see in the faces or gazes of my models I paint. For me, beauty is a magnet that draws me to the absolute ideal, through which I can experience the presence of that hidden behind matter, constantly wishing to experience the eternal observer. Beauty itself is the pretext and vector I follow, but it is the story of my beings and especially women that is the form I ultimately embody. I believe that in conscious and living matter there is some infinite element that takes multiple forms, and creating gives me the opportunity, at least in part, to understand those universal principles that order those forms. For me, painting is an escape into contemplation of these forms and their myriad adventures.
For me, art is a lifting of this blinding curtain, a pulling out of everyday perception and a peek beyond matter to at least briefly touch the infinite. For me, art is a portal to eternity.
The stories of women captured by me and frozen in the static form of paintings are testimony to these spiritual expeditions. My paintings are a combination of symbols and ciphers that lead the viewer from impression to meaning.
Going deeper into the analysis of my creative process, I consider reality to be a projection of my learned assumptions about the world. So, as an artist, I try to use creation to go beyond this established paradigm, to constantly gently disprove it and to search for a new one - my own.
The field of my creative exploration is oneiric spaces that I visit in my dreams, or that haunt my imagination. Dreams are the field of my experience, because finding synchronicities between dream experience and waking are, for me, indirect evidence that reality does not have to be the ultimate and only state that can be actively experienced. Which in my mind implies further testimony that matter is not the ultimate substance we can experience.
I am fascinated by the hermetic history of human thought searching for the ultimate answer to the structure and meaning of reality. In addition to the research goals I have set myself (of which my paintings are a record), that is, discovering the architecture of reality and the nature of the human psyche, I play with building new meaning on foundations built from old symbols , magical gestures, or mystical messages. I draw from an inexhaustible treasury of myths and symbols, which I process, recovery and recycling, so that they gain new value. I analyze the meaning of archetypes and symbols and give them another-my own ciphers.
Following the hypnotic beauty of my models, I try to balance between mystery, symbol and dreamy illusion, in order to keep the viewer's attention and pull them out from under the overwhelming power of everyday life.

Vision
When creating, I usually follow the path of symbolic figuration and aim at synthesizing the history of my characters in a surreal, yet clearly vision. Choosing such means of expression I balance on the edge between a dreamy illusion and mystery,
between the mysterium of the symbol and the hypnotic attraction of a beauty.
